Tennis Inspired Summer Style

Along with the World Cup craze that has been sweeping the nation, another infamous sporting event taking place is Wimbledon, the tennis championship held in London, England.  While soccer, or “football” fans are known for face painting, hair dying, flag wearing, and much else, Wimbledon has visitors that frequent the matches, such as the lovely ladies of the royal family, other fabulous athletes like David and Victoria Beckham, and even American celebs like Gerard Butler, and Bradley Cooper. Not trying to name drop or anything, but this crowd is infinitely different than those at the World Cup. This week, we’re checking out some of the impeccable style that we’ve seen in the stands, and some tennis inspired trends you can wear on the streets. You know, if you didn’t make it to Wimbledon this year…

No surprise here, Kate Middleton looked pretty much flawless. Snag her style for (most likely) a fraction of the cost in this timeless dress from ModCloth. You’ll get an a-line cut which we know is flattering on all body types, in an off-white/cream color that matches Kate’s.

And finally, Leslie Mann keeps it preppy and chic with her top and tailored pants. This similar Peter Pan style collared shirt can be found at Nordstrom, and looks great untucked as it has a great flow to it, or tucked into something high waisted for a more tailored look.
