Most Colorful

This suit from the ASOS website is $170 and is called the Seafolly Oasis; there’s no doubt that this colorful and vibrant print will get you noticed. The zipper in the front can be adjusted for your comfort whether you’re laying out and want a little more exposure, or playing around in the water and need a little more structure.

Best Cut Out

Maybe not the “best cut out” for tan lines, but this Sunstreak Swimsuit from Nasty Gal will definitely bring out your inner rebel. Though it may be black, it is anything but simple with seductively placed strings holding everything together. Certainly recommended for beach parties or pool-side soirees, not so recommended for water sports…

Craziest Print

Not all bathing suits are meant to turn you into eye candy, scare ‘em off with this slightly terrifying one piece. You can find it at Matches Fashion in the Amazon Panther print, or a variety of other jungle cats all staring you down. Take the “Dare to be Bold” statement to a new level in this suit.

Most Flattering

It’s admittedly hard to find a bathing suit that’s flattering on all body types. However this one comes pretty close. The halter style gives ample support for larger chests, and ruching on the side will accentuate an hourglass figure.  This suit is from Melissa Odabash and can be found at retailers like Nordstrom.

Best Retro

I love retro style bathing suits almost as much as I love retro style lingerie. The idea of having a two piece set that isn’t super skimpy is an appealing and functional look– the high waisted bottoms are often paired with halter style tops making them ideal for laying out or an activity with a little more movement while remaining comfortable and covered. This set is from Mod Cloth.
