Looking for the perfect winter pajamas to curl up in? Whether your style is to go all flannel, all fleece, or a decadent robe, there’s something new out there for you to lounge around in. Loungewear is definitely one of my favorite things to write about because for many women it’s a time when we are decidedly not trying to be sexy (but just because we’re not trying doesn’t mean we’re not…), yet there are still so many wonderful prints, patterns, and designs for every style and personality. Now your loungewear and pajamas don’t have to hide under the covers all night.
Feminine and Frilly:
For those of us who like to be a complete prepster and girly-girl 24/7, this charming tailored sleep set from Tuckernuck features adorable sea horses, pink piping, and the option for additional monogramming is a girl’s best friend. You can find it at their online store for $115.
Glamorous:
Love getting dressed up? Looking for any excuse to make something a special occasion? If this sounds like you then obviously there’s no better way to lounge and go to bed than in a nightdress! Amoralle has an amazing collection of night dresses (and robes, and lingerie…). I particularly love this Velvet Belted Lace Nightdress for $268.
Comfort Above All Else:
Sound accurate? Look no further than Marks and Spencer’s line of pajamas, including this totally adorable themed set. After all, if you’re going for full on comfort, then fleece and thermals are the way to go. So why not throw a quirky little bear design on top as well? They can be found online for £27.50 (approx. $44).
And When All Else Fails…
Grab a robe. Seriously, regardless of what (or if) you’re wearing underneath, a robe on top is the easiest way to make or break an nighttime outfit–both with comfort and style. Victoria’s Secret is a great go-to for a large selection, and especially with garments like robes where it’s pretty hard to get the sizing wrong, you’ll have no shortage of choices. I couldn’t pick just one, so we’re featuring a splurge and a steal. First, the elaborate Designer Collection Chiffon Ruffle Robe for $428. Or, slightly more casual, the Cozy Short Robe for just $50. Regardless of price, which one would you rather lounge in?
Obviously loungewear is much more than your old sweats and college t-shirt, but that doesn’t mean you’re restricted to revealing babydolls or lingerie either. Finding the perfect loungewear for your personality is easier than you’d think!
