I really canʼt express how excited I am for the the beginning of Spring. Even though January 1st technically marks the “new year,” itʼs not until the sun comes back out and the temperatures raise a little that I really feel like I have a fresh start. And of course, along with that fresh start comes fresh, new, beautiful fashion. The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week just finished up in New York, but Iʼve had my eye on all the new designs, and up and coming designers in the lingerie world. This week, Iʼm focusing on La Liloucheʼs Spring/Summer collection for 2013 which she gave a preview for and discusses in her own blog.

Being shot in London, she mentioned that she was inspired by vivid and bizarre ideas, and for garments as beautiful as these I canʼt imagine the design process being anything but bold. As far as the photography, thereʼs something special about the rough walls, and simple background paired with such beautiful garments. I especially love this coral set.
Itʼs written in the post with these photos that the garments will be ready for sale by March, which is just around the corner! Iʼm going to have a very difficult time picking just one favorite, but regardless, Iʼm ecstatic to see new and returning customers bring in some bright pops of color for springtime.
And speaking of boudoir photography, whether you pick the latest and greatest of La Lilouche, or some favorites from past collections–any of these beautiful pieces of lingerie seem to add glamour and sophistication to any type of boudoir photography. But most importantly theyʼre never too over the top and keep the focus on the real star of the photo (thatʼs you!). So if you like somewhat understated and classic fashions but have trouble finding that in lingerie, La Lilouche is here to save the day.

Two favorites include this black set with its bows, ruffles, and lace. Then, on the opposite side of the color spectrum, the off-white lace and silk is embellished with pearls.
