At this day and age, there are so many sexy and and adorable choices for undies that one can get bogged down by the possibilities and confused by all of the options. Here is a quick rundown of a few popular styles available  in order to help you pick the best type for your body for  your upcoming boudoir photo shoot.

*Disclamier: One can wear whatever the heck they want and are comfortable in during their photo shoot (and life!); this blog post is just meant to show a couple of cute options.

Boy-cut undies

Underthings from Rue La La

Boycut undies are great all the time in my opinion, but especially when you don’t want to bare it all and feel like wearing undies with a little more coverage. You can go with ones that have a loud, fun pattern, or a more simple, solid pattern.

Lacey boy-cut undies

Frilly boy-cut underthings from Myla London

Taking the boy-cut undies to an even sexier level are these lace undies, perfect for your boudoir photo shoot. Paired with a lacey bra or camisole and your sexy shoot will melt the camera lens!

High-wasted panties

High-waisted undies from Fifi Bralet

Up next are an old classic, the high-waisted panties look, made popular in the ’50s and ’60s. (Think pin-up icon Bettie Page). These undies can be really flattering on all types of bodies, and also provide a bit more coverage if you are feeling a little modest on your photoshoot day.

Corset

Scarlet taffeta steel boned corset from Love Burlesque

Another classic, the corset used to stand for a way that women were being inhibited by the world, and now they are a sexy way for women to express themselves. They also provide a bit more coverage and help enhance curves where you want them (and not necessarily where nature put them).

Low-rise thong

Lacey low-rise thong from Hanky Panky

The thong. What a classic, and when you add a little lace, you add some extra femininity and fun.

The G-string

Calvin Klein G-string thong

Again, you can’t go wrong with this classic, sexy look.

The above are just a couple of options out there for the modern woman. I always recommend bringing a few different types to your photo shoot, and wearing whatever you feel comfortable in. When you feel sexy, the rest of the world can tell! 😉
